God Is A Woman

Presented in a timeworn aesthetic, this work seeks to honor the generative power of the female body throughout history.

Out on a barren land, small female figures engage in acts of creation, generating something from nothing—binding, reshaping, and testing materials through persistence and renewal. Their sweat and tears are sustained by each spark of light and smoke that carries hope. Presented in a timeworn aesthetic, this work seeks to honor the generative power of the female body throughout history.

This pair of drawings is a replica of an earlier commission for Wilson Associates, originally displayed at Le Lapin Restaurant in the Macao Science Center. The originals, once alive within the space, were lost to a fire years after its opening.
